Fat Stone Farm wants everyone to be able to shop our website and learn about our farm, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the widely used standards for making websites accessible to people with disabilities.
What we've done
- Reviewed our site with automated accessibility testing tools and fixed the issues these tools found
- Added page language settings, frame titles, and larger, easier-to-tap menu links
- Are adding text descriptions to images and product labels
- Use Shopify's checkout, which is built to meet WCAG 2.1 AA
Ongoing work
We know some parts of our site may not yet be fully accessible, and we're working through them. Some features, like product reviews and our store-rating badge, come from outside providers. We work with them to address accessibility problems.
